  • Thank you for signing up for your second night event of the year. If you were unable to attend a night you signed up for we still have two upcoming events. This Tuesday (5/31) and next Thursday (6/9).
  • Tuesday night the district will be hosting an Open House for the community. Like many events, we are not sure what attendance may look like. I have been asked to have some staff available for tours of the building, greeting people, etc. Extended pay is available for PFSP staff who are willing to come and help out or PAT members who have already fulfilled their second night event for the year. Please let me know if you would like to come and help out.
  • As a reminder grade level classes have scheduled times and other classes/grades should not be on the playground during this times. The big playground is not available from 11:25-2:45 daily for recesses. Along these lines classes should not be leaving school grounds. The park is not part of campus and a walking field trip permission form should be used for any visits/trips to this location. This is a liability issue.  We fielded several calls from families on Thursday and Friday around current safety protocols, etc. We have also had concerns brought up by the neighbors about activities taking place at the park, baseball field, etc. Exceptions for events like Field Day will be made because we will have adequate supervision, but a single teacher taking a class out presents several safety concerns.
  • Along the same lines please make sure that if you are leaving with your classroom to visit another classroom, the library, etc. that you call the office and let them know of your location. We had a hard time locating some kids on Friday and had to spend some time tracking them down.
  • Attached is a copy of the year end check list. We will also be placing a copy in your boxes. Emily and I will be available on Tuesday the 14th to check rooms and do a final checkout. Please note this year we are asking that you DO NOT place unwanted items out in the hall for people to "shop". If you have items people may be interested in taking we will gladly send emails out to let people know of your "sale", but ask all items be kept inside your room. All unwanted items must be donated, recycled and removed prior to your departure. Here is a link to the form as well: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Uy7jtDArb-ZDtlIITKQdVbNmvrvyyNZM/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=112828837229122108983&rtpof=true&sd=true

  • We will be creating a sign up for spaces the last week of school. If your class/grade level are putting on end of the year events that require alternative spaces please contact Shannon so she can help with scheduling. Please do not assume a space will be free. Spaces we will be scheduling will include: Cafeteria, Auditorium, both playgrounds, both gyms, and the library.
  • Please note middle school classes will run as normal through Thursday the 9th. More details on their schedule later.
  • If you are planning on having parents/visitors coming in for end of the year activities please talk to Leah first. This does not include volunteers who have been cleared, but is more for events where you may want to invite parents/families in.
