Nightly News for May 25th

• A special thanks to Saint Mary's Academy students who cleaned out the courtyard next to Ms.Edward's office. It was out of control.
• Thank you to Kathy Hunt and Martin Castillo for jumping in today and supporting in classrooms and taking over duties. We appreciate those staff members who have stepped in to cover for unfilled positions.

OSAS Testing

• 3-8 Teachers Please take a minute to give feedback re: OSAS Testing this year. 
• OSAS - 
• Make-Up Test Sessions Tomorrow - 10:30-11:30 and 1:30-2:45 3-8 
• 3-8 teachers with incomplete tests please see the email sent today about testing tomorrow 
• Tuesday 5/31 - Testing will be available most of the day. I'll send exact times Tuesday morning (I'm out Friday)

K-5 Report Cards

Report card comments will be done the same as quarter 2 and 3 report comments. 

Here is the Report Card Folder for translations this year. 

If a comment does not need to be translated enter it directly into Synergy. 

If a comment needs to be translated:

1.  Share it in the folder of the language you need. 

      - The easiest way to do this is to open the language folder you need.

      - Then click 'New' and 'Google Doc'. This creates a document that is

       automatically shared with everyone who needs it. 

2. Make sure the title of the document is Your name followed by other info you need, for example, "Turner - 3rd Fred." 

3. When the translator is done, they will add the word DONE to the beginning of the title, for example, "DONE Turner - 3rd Fred." 

If you have a common comment you'll be using share it in the folder as soon as possible. 

Important Dates: 

No PLCs next week  

6/1 - "Other" Comments Due - At 8:00 am this folder will be closed so that Monica can prep and get them out. It takes about 5 days to get them returned. 

6/6 - Translated Comments Due - At 8:00 am these folders will close so that translators have time for this and their own end-of-year stuff. 

6/13 - ESL and Elective teachers' grades need to be complete in Synergy.

6/13  - Reading, Sped, and ESL - Give a printed copy of comments to classroom teachers, as needed.

6/14 - Classroom teachers give the office report cards stuffed in envelopes.
