It is a busy week...the rest of them will be. In taking feedback from the survey we did at Staff Meeting I am going to begin doing the Weekly Forecast/Morning Minute as an email. I will continue doing it in blog form as well. It was mentioned it was difficult to find information once it was sent out and email is easier to search. I will ask for additional feedback after a bit to see if this works better for people.

On another communication note please be sure to take a look at the Google Calendar daily. School wide events should pop up in purple. We are doing our best to put in field trips, testing, etc. in purple so you can easily spot things that may impact your schedules.

  • We have a lot more students than in past years who have not completed testing in five days. With this being said, we will continue tomorrow with our testing schedule BUT those students who are with a different class (i.e. collasped classes) will head back to their Advisory class at 10:42.  Do not announce we will be ending at 10:42 please. Their are a few exceptions to this. Students testing with Karen, Conni and Molly will continue to test until the 11:04 . A reminder that MIP students will be coming into Advisories t(hat aren't testing, 10:44-11:04) . Theresa is going  through tracking forms for each Advisory and marking students with the most to do to go to their spaces by highlighting bright blue. Otherwise, check the 'collapsing' tab for the testing plan for your space. If you have been supporting classes, and your class isn't testing, please check-in with Theresa and she'll let you know if your support is needed.

  • In the same vein we know there was concern around having an additional schedule shift this week. We asked SS teachers if they could take on the Successful Schools Survey in their classes this week and they agreed to to take it on. This means we will be on a regular schedule for Tuesday. Thank you SS for taking one for the team.

  • The Admin team is hoping to conduct exit interviews with all staff before the end of the year. We will begin meeting after we return from Memorial Day weekend. Please email your administrator of choice before the end of this week so we can get it on our calendar. We will  largely be scheduling these during PLC time.
  • PLCs will meet this week - Use this time for any end-of-year planning or to look forward to next year. Theresa will join if able.
  • If you are not hosting testing (or as soon as you're done hosting) please send any leftover headphones and/or snacks to the office so they can be used in makeup testing.
  • Tuesday night SUN is hosting an OMSI night. OMSI will be here with activities, etc. for families. If any staff is interested in supporting we can offer an hour of extended time. Please let Leah know if you are planning on staying to support.
