Morning Minute for May 3rd

Whew! Multicultural Night was a success. We typically try to do this event in March when the duldrums hit and not a lot is going on, but it wasn't in the cards this year. I want to thank Dan for carrying on and planning the event. He definitely made it happen.
We had a lot of people here! Former students (and families), Clark kids, and community members all showed up to support the event. I did not get to watch a lot of the performances, but can since it was livestreamed and is available to watch at any time. Thank you to Brenda for setting this new fangled technology up. Additional thanks to staff members who came to help supervise and support. Kojo, Bee, Bobbi, Joel, Lisandra, Malia (and anyone else I am missing) who helped rally students together for performances. Naima and Natalia for their help getting families here with food. Thank you to Shannon who put many miles on her car picking items up and dealing with the $$$.

  • The question of if our staff is required to attend Summer Institute this year because of our TSI status. I did ask this question and was told: "We are waiting to get this solidified, more information to come."  Just wanted to keep you updated.
