Morning Minute for May 29th

  • It was the Tuesday after Memorial Day and I could certainly feel the energy! I failed to put this in the Morning Minute, but Regina was out in the AM with our Jieshou students. She returned and Spencer left to support the AVID Field Trip. I had an appointment and left at 2:40. There were several other people out that typically support with students as well. Please be sure check the staff absence list daily to ensure you are aware of outages. I know there were a few situations this afternoon that may not have been addressed as a result of people being unavailable. On that note, it is important to continue to hold students accountable for behavior and document with referrals if warranted. I am guessing this week and next will be a little more robust with behaviors of concern. 
  • Dan sent out a list of students to be excused tomorrow for WEB training this morning. Please be aware. 
  • Library packing went quickly. When I left it was almost complete. Please remember we the library is closed for the remainder of the year. Chukwu, Cate, Valerie, Naz and Kirk will continue to work out of the space for this week. Starting next week Naz will be supporting with Chromebook collection and will utilize a desk in the office. Chukwu will be using Spencer's office. Cate will be in the unfinished office off of room 101. Kirk will be using Lindsay Alex's office on days it is available. Valerie will be devoting more time to Tubman for the last few weeks.

Morning Minute for May 8th

 A reminder that lunch will be ready to roll tomorrow @ 12:40 in the staff room. We will be serving burritos and tacos.  A shift in the schedule. We will serve desserts on Friday and Italian sodas on Thursday.  Please note orders for Italian sodas need to be turned in by Thursday at noon. These can be put in Leah's box. If we do not have an order form one will not be delivered. These were handed out at staff meeting yesterday.
