Morning Minute for May 17th

  • The kids were a bit off today. I anticipate tomorrow will either be calm because they are tired and ready for the weekend or nuts because they are tired of testing and have a lot of pent up energy. I will hope for the first. It was by no means terrible, but you could feel the teen angst. 
  • A reminder we will begin collapsing testing rooms. Be sure to check the tabs on testing information. You may need to check this daily to keep yourself abreast of what is going on. 
  •  Because it makes so much sense towards the end of the year...we are getting new copiers next week. Our school is one of several that will be receiving new machines. This is supposed to happen on Monday. Just an FYI. Naima will be the point person for copier needs/repairs, etc. please refer issues etc. to her.

  • In looking over some feedback I saw someone said we needed more whiteboards. I am not sure if they meant big ones on the wall or small ones for student use. If it is the second kind there is still three boxes of white boards to the left of the office door in the lobby. These are for anyone who would like them. If they are not picked up by Monday we will be shipping them off to Clark. 
  • We have a group of students who are praying at the end of recess this week. They should be no later than ten minutes late to class. They will be back on their normal schedule next week.

Morning Minute for May 8th

 A reminder that lunch will be ready to roll tomorrow @ 12:40 in the staff room. We will be serving burritos and tacos.  A shift in the schedule. We will serve desserts on Friday and Italian sodas on Thursday.  Please note orders for Italian sodas need to be turned in by Thursday at noon. These can be put in Leah's box. If we do not have an order form one will not be delivered. These were handed out at staff meeting yesterday.
