THANK YOU for celebrating my Birthday with me Friday. I appreciate the treats brought in and sentiments from students and staff. I am humbled by the recognition. My family and friends celebrated on Friday night, and the rest of the weekend was used for catching up on work and relaxing.


Fair Warning- I am getting this out pretty earlier and will be spending a lot of time in emails etc. there may be a second edition in the event I missed anything. 


  • Here are the OSAS Slides. Slides 18-21 have titles and I will finish them tomorrow. 

Advisory teachers need to commit to: 

1. spending a class period going over them on May 8th or May 10th. 

or 

2. using Advisory time on May 3rd, 8th and 10th going over them. 

Clark is looking for some student volunteers for June 13th to assist with their Field Day. 

  • Thursday night we will be holding Multicultural Night from 5:00-7:30. We are able to provide 1.5 hours of extended pay to staff who comes out to support. If you are willing and able please let Dan Carpenter know. Kudos to him for taking this endeavor on. This was one of those events we want to continue to hold, but with the events of this year our regular timing didn't work out. 
  • Clark Elementary is looking for some student volunteers to help with Field Day on June 13th. There are two different sessions (AM/PM). I know we are beginning to have conversations around the last few days of school now. If you are potentially interested in taking a group of students to volunteer let me know. 
  • I am almost done with the map for next year's classrooms. I have largely talked to people about moves and will finish up tomorrow. We will go over a bit on Tuesday. 
  • Natalia is wondering if  anyone has student tables they aren't using. She needs 2 or 3 to better facilitate small groups.

Morning Minute for May 8th

 A reminder that lunch will be ready to roll tomorrow @ 12:40 in the staff room. We will be serving burritos and tacos.  A shift in the schedule. We will serve desserts on Friday and Italian sodas on Thursday.  Please note orders for Italian sodas need to be turned in by Thursday at noon. These can be put in Leah's box. If we do not have an order form one will not be delivered. These were handed out at staff meeting yesterday.
