APANO put on a community event today (Sunday). Our art students and horticulture students had some items for sale. Thank you to Dani and Mike for giving up part of their Sunday to help with their programs and support students. It was VERY cold, but we enjoyed talking to community members and helping give some exposure to HP. 

We want to give special thanks to our classified staff this week. From ensuring our building is clean and safe, feeding students and supporting in so many other ways. Our gratitude is endless. 

Wahoo. I will be in the building almost all week. I am scheduled to do instructional rounds at George Middle School Wednesday morning, but will be in by 12:30. Other than that I will be here. Spencer will be out on Thursday and Friday for a training, as well as Naima. 

  • Thank you to everyone who stayed to support the Spring Fling on Friday. There were no issues and students had a lot of good clean fun. Well done team!
  • ELPA testing begins for our multilingual students this week. Please be sure to give them some positive vibes and encourage them to do their very best. 
  • PLCs will be on schedule this week and our grade level team meetings begin. 8th grade will be a "nuts and bolts" meeting. 7th grade will focus on academic student concerns and 6th grade will focus on behavioral concerns. We do ask that staff fill out this document the day before the meeting so elective, intervention and other staff members can determine if they need to attend. KidChat/SIT

Morning Minute for May 8th

 A reminder that lunch will be ready to roll tomorrow @ 12:40 in the staff room. We will be serving burritos and tacos.  A shift in the schedule. We will serve desserts on Friday and Italian sodas on Thursday.  Please note orders for Italian sodas need to be turned in by Thursday at noon. These can be put in Leah's box. If we do not have an order form one will not be delivered. These were handed out at staff meeting yesterday.
