This weather! I am enjoying a relaxing Sunday morning with the sliding glass door open and the sun streaming in. I hope you were able to get some vitamin D these past two days. 

  • Rest and Recovery is on it's way. In order to prepare for your nine days of R&R we will make an effort to give some pointers. For Monday, make a list of all the things you feel may weigh on you over the break. Identify one thing from said list you can cross off tomorrow. My list has: What has to be done and what I would like to be done. I know this list will never be 100% complete, but it will help me focus this week. 
  •  The Safety Committee met on Friday. We have not had any staff injuries, but wanted to remind everyone in the event of any injury it should be reported to admin or a Safety Team member for documentation.

  • Wanted to give you a heads up that on April 10th students participating in the talent show will be out for rehearsal 6th & 7th Period. A few students will also be out during 5th. A list will be shared after we return from Spring Break, but we wanted to give everyone advanced notice.

ELPA Testing is continuing. Kids are taking their time and putting a lot of effort in. Monday we hope to get as much done as possible. This is the list of students who are still testing. They are listed with their ESL and Electives times. If it doesn't work to miss electives, remove that from next to their name. If they are in another class that they could miss Monday please put it in next to their name. We'll get them passes and take care of their attendance. 

Unfortunately, due to the need for a secure environment, the library will be offline a while longer. 

  • SEED Survey information went out. Make sure you are prepared. If you have questions email/text Theresa ***The one missing piece of info was that SSID cards will be put in boxes of Advisory teachers. Along with these will be a class list that also has SSID numbers. These are considered secure and need to be shredded when done.***
  • Our staff meeting will be after school again. We will meet in the library. 
  • Next year's staff hours will be 8:15-4:15. Student hours will be 9:15-4:00. This will be district wide for all middle schools.

Morning Minute for May 8th

 A reminder that lunch will be ready to roll tomorrow @ 12:40 in the staff room. We will be serving burritos and tacos.  A shift in the schedule. We will serve desserts on Friday and Italian sodas on Thursday.  Please note orders for Italian sodas need to be turned in by Thursday at noon. These can be put in Leah's box. If we do not have an order form one will not be delivered. These were handed out at staff meeting yesterday.
