I am excited to return tomorrow. The conference was well worth attending. There were some great sessions (crowded...I got to sit on the floor a few times) and I look forward to sharing more out in coming weeks. I will definitely have some catching up to do this week. It will be a busy one with the finalization of staffing tomorrow and probationary evaluations due on Friday. To top it off, I am out at Leadership on Thursday and will be out for the majority of Friday for some appointments I scheduled way back. Life I tell ya! Thank you to all the staff that pitched in this past week. We appreciate you.

  • Dental Sealants will take place all week in the library. Chances are they won't take all week, but they are scheduled for the entire week.
  • Friday is our Spring Fling. Anyone interested in supporting we can offer one hour of extended pay. Dan sent out an email with more specific information about needs at the Dance/Spring Fling on Friday.
  • Our ESL teacher, Gustavo Vaz, is  starting his schedule Monday.  If we haven't heard anything back from the emails sent out with ideas  we are assuming the schedule is okay. If we need to make changes please communicate. Gustavo will  pick up,  or send kids with passes to pick up other kids for the first couple days and then after that students will come on their own. They'll have permanent passes for the groups.
  • ICYMI here is a link to the PSU voucher lottery for Spring Term. If things haven't changed in the last few years this covers 2/3 of your tuition. If you use your professional development money this makes the class/credit free. I have been able to do this twice.
