Morning Minute for February 28th

  • Thank you for your presence at staff meeting. A lot of different pieces coming together, but we needed some time to get out some general communication around various things. Let me know if you have thoughts or questions as you process . As always, please reach out to your ILT team to provide feedback and input as well.
  • A reminder to have kids wait until after the bell rings to go get drinks etc. Triangulation is a real thing. They come up with some great ways to get a few extra minutes of freedom. 
  • Some people asked about Summer School. Here is some information. Summer Acceleration Academy 2024

Once again, PPS plans to offer Summer Acceleration Academy to support students with academic learning gaps. Student Dates: July 1st to August 1st Staff Dates: June 24th to August 2nd Where: 8-11 sites at PPS schools* Additional Information: Informational Slide Deck Employment Opportunities: Jobs will be posted on March 1st. The pay rate for internal staff will be your current hourly rate or the summer rate, whichever is higher. *All program plans are subject to funding availability. Morning Minute for May 8th

 A reminder that lunch will be ready to roll tomorrow @ 12:40 in the staff room. We will be serving burritos and tacos.  A shift in the schedule. We will serve desserts on Friday and Italian sodas on Thursday.  Please note orders for Italian sodas need to be turned in by Thursday at noon. These can be put in Leah's box. If we do not have an order form one will not be delivered. These were handed out at staff meeting yesterday.
