Morning Minute for January 19th

 UGH. I could clean out closets and scrub my baseboards. I have worked, but I am definitely ready to get back to the building to be with you all! There are many things we will look at for next week. I am hoping to get some clarification tomorrow on a few items. Sit tight. I will communicate with the Weekly Forecast. 


In the meantime continue to stay warm. I hope this time has provided you with some rest and family time. My dogs are not happy about the conditions outside, but they LOVE having plenty of couch time with mom. Tonight is the worst we have had; there is a lot of loud cracking and thuds outside. Fingers crossed...well there went the power. Seriously. Thank goodness for my VILS device.

Nightly News for Wednesday the 9th

Tomorrow is what may be our last Apple Harvest. This event begins at 5:00 and runs until 7:00. Valerie, Elin and Ron have spent time organizing and we are hoping for a great turn out. All staff are welcome to come and support!  We are looking for a paper cutter. Daniela currently has one in the art room that is hardly functioning. It needs to be retired. I am reaching out in hopes of finding one in the building that is stuffed in a closet or drawer somewhere and could be given to our art room for daily use before  we purchase a new one. Please let her, or me know if you have one you are willing to part with.  Just an FYI I was in meetings pretty much all day. I am behind in responding to emails and will work on this tomorrow as I can and over the weekend.

Nightly News for November 1st

Please note that Shannon, or I,  cannot use the P-Card to make purchases on anyone's personal accounts. For example if you wanted to order something from Home Depot we could not have you send us your link and pay for it using the P-Card. All purchases have to be made on a Harrison Parks specific account OR the employee can pay for it and be reimbursed .   MS Arts Performance 3-5 Assembly 2:30-3:00 tomorrow. Be sure to review the expectations. As a reminder Emily is out tomorrow.

Morning Minute for September 22nd

  Thank you for everyone pitching in today. Three appointments checked off the list! I will be in all day Friday. I heard our 6th graders were a bit active yesterday. Thank you Zach for your excellent heads up.  We have our 6th Grade Mixer today (Friday) from 4:00-5:00. We are unable to offer extended pay, but I am sure if you stay to support you will have plenty of fodder for the weekend. I love Middle School socials. This event takes place from 4:00-5:00.  If you have a student needing translation of a text on their Chromebook try the Snap and Read Extension.  You can use Snap and Read. You can use this to read aloud to a student  1. Turn On Snap and Read - If you can't see it click puzzle piece and click the pin next to it. 2. Go to Options 3. On the left you can choose the read aloud language on the right choose the print change language 4. Highlight the print  5. For read aloud press the Speaker for print change press the Letter A button
