I hope you are finding this SOGGY weekend productive. I am definitely looking forward to some drier weather. 

  • Thank you to the Benson Family for hosting the staff holiday get together on Friday. It is always good to unwind and have some fun!
  • You may have seen the Christmas tree and box in the front lobby. The WEB class is holding a gift and food drive. We will be using donations for Harrison Park families in need. You are welcome to bring in items if you are able.
  • Please be sure you have put in any absences for this week and next into Frontline. Per the contract we also ask you let us know of the use of personal days five days in advance. This should be done in writing (email works). 
  • Moving boxes will arrive on Tuesday for those moving rooms. I will send an invite out to those who are directly impacted by the move for an informational meeting around the move after Wednesday. I am hoping to have an answer around not having students on the 2nd will occur. 
  • 8th grade students will need to go to the auditorium at 11:45 on 12/12 during 4th period to attend the Benson HS visit. If you have 7th and 8th graders please send your 8th graders at this time. If you have 8th graders please come to the auditorium with them.

Morning Minute for June 11th

We will be on a PM Assembly schedule tomorrow, Tuesday the 11th. This is a shift from our original plans. I sent an email out earlier this afternoon to let everyone know we will be canceling the building wide WIN time. We did not have much entered in the spreadsheet designed to determine where students should be receiving support. My apologies to those of you who did make efforts to make this happen.  We will be reviewing what is in the spreadsheet and may be able to pull students who need a quiet space to catch up on things. If you have any questions in regards to this please feel free to direct them to me. We will have assigned seating for tomorrow's assembly. We will dismiss classes using the intercom. We will begin releasing classes around 2:40. Students should leave their backpacks/belongings in classrooms. To my knowledge there are no groups being pulled out tomorrow. This week will be busy with several night events and Chromebook turn in. Please hold to building and classroom expectations. The more normalcy we can provide the better. We do not have any alternative schedules this week so hopefully that keeps things "normal".   We will not hold PLCS or Kid Chats this week.
