Morning Minute for December 22nd

  • Kids are getting anxious. You could feel the energy after school and they absolutely didn't want to go home. Please continue to be positive and vigilant. I know events such as Festivus and Carnival throw things off for kids, but they are the events kids will remember years from now. "Remember that one year when..." Lets make tomorrow joyous for our students and US. Your well deserved break is almost here.
  • We will have limited bells tomorrow. Basically we will have one at 9:15, 10:00 (for assembly release) and then again beginning at 12:10 (I believe) and as we make the major shifts for each rotation. We will not have tardies (don't tell the kids). All adults should be out in the halls supervising during any transitions. The exception would be if there is a transition during your assigned lunch or prep time. Here is a link to all things for tomorrow: Carnvial12/22/23

  • I will not be sending out all staff communication again until January 1st unless there is an emergency. Please plan on reading the Weekly Forecast on the 1st so you know what to expect on the 2nd. Plan to arrive at 8:15. We will work our full day and do have a staff meeting. Again, more details to come.
  • Thank you Dan for leading the first Festivus Event. It was crowded, we need a better cafeteria sound system, but all in all it was positive. Thank you to everyone for coming to supervise and enjoy time with our kids. We definitely could not have done this a year ago.

Advisory Teachers/Partners

Here is info for Advisory tomorrow. Advisory teachers I will also be putting a copy in your box with the attendance list for tomorrow. PLEASE READ this information and follow attendance instructions. Please note there is a link for the morning session.  ADVISORYINFO12/22

Here is a link to information on Advisory Service projects. I placed some items in rooms after school today (Thursday) and will bring a few additional items that I had to pick up tonight around tomorrow morning. AdvisoryServiceProjects. I am placing a copy of the above with the supplies I drop off as well. Again, there are a few links you may want to utilize.

  • As you leave after school tomorrow (Friday) please be sure to clean out your fridges of any items that will spoil. Water plants and secure food. We know we have a rodent problem.
