Morning Minute for December 15th
- No one will be allowed to park in the front lot tomorrow. The construction company will be hoisting a very large piece of equipment onto the roof for our new HVAC system. Remind me to get pictures!
- Spencer will be out of the building today (Friday).
- Hallway presence. We need everyone out in the halls during passing time. Please be vigilant about this and be sure to report anything to admin, Dan or the counselors if you see something that may need to be addressed.
- We will not hold PLCs next week. With the exception of 6th Grade Kid Chat all other meetings for next week will be taken of everyone's plates.
- In speaking with people around the district I have to share with you I am THANKFUL for you all. While we do have a few people out next week due to travel etc. the majority of us are going to "slog" through the week. We will do this together and we will try to make it as joyful as possible. We are truly honored to serve with you.
- Please be aware that next week we may need to ask people to cover classes during their PLC times. As of right now we look to be in decent shape, but if the need arises we will pull people to cover for their peers during PLC times. We will not ask for people to cover during their planning period. As an FYI we are already down four people during lunch/recess duties and next week will be down an additional two people. Admin will be needed to cover these duties all week. We also plan on being in classrooms if needed. I will share out the coverage plan in the Weekly Forecast, but wanted to give everyone a heads up.
- Check in with your sidekicks around your performances next week and your plans for grade level time on Friday. If you need to practice get on it!
- Bobbie, our current dance teacher, has offered to teach us all a very simple dance for next week's assembly. Please feel free to join her for an optional rehearsal tomorrow morning in the auditorium.
- I sent out emails to some staff members today around their spaces. Fire Marshal Bill (okay not really his name but there is a prize for the first person to send me a text/email in regards to what I am referencing) has asked that we take care of any infractions. The Safety Committee will go over the report tomorrow.
- A reminder that the building will be open from 10-2 on Saturday for those who would like to pack. Entry will be through the front door.
