ODS Bus Return @ 1:30ish
I apologize for getting this out late tonight. I started it this morning, but had to go check in on my dad and by the time I got home it was time to head to HP for the Outdoor School buses and then after I had to go grocery shopping and then by the time I got home I had to make dinner and then I had to clean that up and now it is almost 8:00 and the weekend is gone. I know you all can commiserate. They go so fast. By the way I was writing this in the style of many of the students from my past 😏
- Outdoor School buses are loaded and off. It was a BEAUTIFUL day for them to go. Fingers crossed all goes well. I will be visiting three camps this week and Regina will be visiting one on Wednesday. The kids were excited and the parents shed a few tears...
- I have a list of students who did not show up for the ODS buses. Admin will work together tomorrow to determine if these 6th graders will now be coming to school for the week and finalizing 6th grade schedules for the week. We will share out any pertinent information, but will need to be flexible until we see how many eyeballs we have!
- I will be heading out a little before 11:00 to visit two camps tomorrow and will not be returning for the day.
- I was in the building today and Room 101 is done, but items haven't been moved in yet. It was supposed to happen over the weekend (they may do it tomorrow morning). Donna and Natalia will be sharing this room until more permanent moves are made in January.

- Shannon is going to work on ordering staff gear, in navy. She will also be exploring ordering sweatshirts etc. Unfortunately, this will be at cost for staff. Stay tuned.
- On Tuesday we are giving PAT members two options for our PD. One option is time to review data and process with a processing activity on your own. The other option will be to discuss and process the data together from 4:00-5:00 (approximately). I know when looking over data I start losing focus and begin going down "rabbit holes". I like to explore on my own and then review with others after I have had time to digest it. Other people prefer to discuss and process. For this reason you may choose either option. Those doing the data walk on their own will be asked to complete a reflection activity. Theresa will have a MAP Growth folder in the Staff Meeting Folder that you have access to change. Every teacher should make a copy of the slides, with their name at the beginning (except those at Outdoor School). More information will come out in Tuesday's Morning Minute but we wanted to communicate out prior to that.
- 7/8 teachers: Leadership will put sticky dots in your boxes for your Advisory students to use at the gallery walk of Hispanic Heritage posters on Wednesday. We counted out a couple extra just in case. Each grade level has a different color dots. One is green and the other is orange, can't remember which is which right now. Please make sure to reiterate to the kids to put it on the marked sheet by the poster, not on the poster itself. Thanks, Conni.
