Morning Minute for October 10th

  • I made it to Camp Namanu (Steeves) and Camp Angelos (Cooper). It was very drippy at Namanu! Kids at both camps were in good spirits and actively learning. I am thankful we are able to provide this opportunity to for them. Hopefully tomorrow morning is a little smoother and we are able to send more students on the day bus to Kuralti (Falcon Meza). Thank you to Cardwell and Stephanie Jones for stepping in to support remaining 6th graders.

  • Students who are not at Outdoor School will attend 1st Period in room 169. They will not go to their normal 1st period classes. 2nd-4th will be with Mr.Cardwell and 5th-7th will be with Stephanie Jones. They will go to any electives/intervention classes that take place in periods 2nd-7th.
  • FOR STAFF MEETING TOMORROW: This week there are 2 options for the staff meeting. The work of them is the same - Analyzing Baseline MAP data. If you aren't sure which better meets your needs, open the slides referred to below and determine your comfort level looking at this data.

Option 1 - Meet with Me, Theresa, in room 136, 4:00-5:00 and I'll walk you through the data

Option 2 - Self-Guided Work - Directions as follows

In the Shared Drive -> PD Folder -> Staff Meeting Folder -> Map Data folder ->

1. Find the slides named - Your Name Here MAP Growth - MAKE A COPY adding your name. Don't move your copy from the folder. Each person should have their own set of slides.

2. Read slides 1-4. Then starting on slide 5 you'll look at data by the entire school, classes, and individual students. As you're doing this answer the questions on the slides.

3. If you choose this option your slides should be completed by Friday afternoon.

  • All PAT members need to make sure they have signed up for in Pepper for this Friday's training. PFSP staff you do not need to sign up for training.
