It sounds like it was a solid Friday. My daughter's wisdom tooth extraction and bone grafting went well. I definitely had to play nurse on Friday. I hope you all had a good weekend. The weather continues to be fantastic!

  • Our Back to School Night is this Tuesday. We will open doors at 6:00 and allow parents to access classrooms and the building until 7:20. We will do an all call at 7:20 to let our parents know we are wrapping up. We will hold two Title 1 presentations and the district project managers will be holding an informational session at 7:00. These will take place in the auditorium. Community partners will be in the lobby. Brenda, our VILS coach, will most likely be offering information on Securly, Parent Vue, etc. in the library. Lite refreshments will be served in the cafeteria. Classroom teachers please plan on being in your classrooms. We will be checking in with those teachers who use more than once space to determine their locations. As a reminder this is one of two, or three, nights that is required for PAT members. PFSP employees if you plan on attending we would love to have you. Please see me.
  • There have been some requests for the navy student shirts from staff. At this time we need to inventory shirts and ensure we have enough to distribute to new students throughout the year. A few people have these coveted shirts. Natalie and Lalelia for instance were given one because they prepped all the shirts for distribution. Herk received one because he has to wear HP or PPS gear daily. We will communicate out if we are able to begin giving these to staff.
  • Our goal was to have all schedules worked out by last week. However, some ESL and reading support students will have their schedules adjusted this week to better meet their needs and have more targeted instruction in groups. Also, we are adding another class to Natalia's caseload. As a result, we'll have Ruby supporting in classes during literacy time more, in her place.
  • Students will begin voting on our mascot this week during lunches.
