Nightly News for June 8th

•  As a reminder if you are going to be leaving your room outside of normal recesses/specials/lunches please call the office to let them know of your whereabouts. 

• Dumpsters were dropped of this morning for the removal of furniture and other items. You are welcome to put your own classroom items that are being disposed of.

• Tomorrow is the last day of snacks. There will be no snacks next week. 

• K-5 teachers please stop by with your classes and check out the overflowing lost and found in the front of the school.  
  All items will be donated after the 14th.

• If you haven't responded yet, please try to do so by Mon. 6/12 to be entered in the raffle for some sweet gift cards!

FIELD DAY

 Please review the FIELD DAY Slideshow prior to going out and go over expectations with your students. We want everyone to have a good time. Classroom teachers feel free to take a ten minute bathroom break,  just be sure to find another staff member supporting field day to cover your class during this time.

There are seven staff supporting each session of field day. Thank you to those of you who let me know if there is a conflict with the times assigned. I think I made all corrections.  

Please note that afternoon recesses on the big playground will also be impacted. Below are times that the small playground is available for your 2nd recess. You are welcome to come up with another plan for recesses, but we want to avoid issues with too many students on the field/playground at once. 

3rd Grade- Small Playground 2:35-2:50

4th Grade- Small Playground 2:50-3:05

5th Grade- Small Playground 1:05-1:25

The Small Playground is available until 11:10 in the morning on the 9th, but can not be used after that as it has classes scheduled on it. The Big Playground is not available all day with the exception of those participating in Field Day or Lunch Recesses.
