Nightly News for June 7th

  • There are more boxes. I have set aside some for our reading team who gets to pack up all the intervention materials. At this time we ask that you take a limit of five boxes. I am being told that the boxes are technically for district owned materials and they are not providing boxes for personal belongings. Reading between the lines they will move your stuff, but you may need to secure additional boxes for your personal items they are moving. Continue purging! Marie Kondos says if you haven't touched something in six months ( a year for season items) it should go. ;-)
  •  I have been asked to conduct some district level interviews tomorrow afternoon. I will be leaving the building around 12:30 tomorrow and will be out for the remainder of the day. I can be reached by text or email. 
  • I put an email out last night, but wanted to let everyone know Gus and Bart the resident goats are back for a quick visit of about a week. Please do not allow students in the science courtyard until further notice. 
  • Danelle sent this email out: We will be collecting old markers and crayons so they can be recycled. There will be 2 boxes marked in the workroom next to a kindergarten classrooms. 
  • Please do not put other items in the workroom that you no longer need or want.
  • Unless you have prior arrangements with Shannon,  no more money can be spent using student body funds. We have to have an account ready to turn in by Friday morning. 
  • We are no longer purchasing with the P-Card. If you need items for your end of the year parties etc. please keep receipts for reimbursement and turn them in by the 9th. We have to have accounts settled by Friday (see the above) . 
  • There is a few shifts below. Time slots are 45 minutes and I cut one short.

Morning Minute for May 8th

 A reminder that lunch will be ready to roll tomorrow @ 12:40 in the staff room. We will be serving burritos and tacos.  A shift in the schedule. We will serve desserts on Friday and Italian sodas on Thursday.  Please note orders for Italian sodas need to be turned in by Thursday at noon. These can be put in Leah's box. If we do not have an order form one will not be delivered. These were handed out at staff meeting yesterday.
