Lunch Service- Schulze, Brandt-Lazar, DaRosa (Heads up 3rd grade teachers next week your students get an opportunity to serve!)

I largely had this ready to go on Friday before I left. I sat down tonight to check email and get it sent out. The next few weeks will be extraordinarily busy around my home as we are prepping for my daughter's graduation party and trying to focus on her and this event. We have come a long way in the last five years and I am thankful to be near the finish. Add school events and the impending shifts and it will be hectic. As I say, this too shall pass. Deep breaths. I hope you were able to the extra day off and seize the weather. This weekend is always needed to get me to the end of the year.

  • Big shout out to Rustin Marcello who held down two jobs on Friday covering for Schoene (as we had to pull his sub to cover a 3rd grade class) and his own. I made every effort to get coverage for contract teachers and we were largely able to do that.
  • Valerie Peacock was the winner of the last scavenger hunt clue. She found the flamingo in the workroom. It was located in a container of spiral bindings. I hope you enjoyed the fun.
  • K-5 Reminders

1. 2 weeks ago you were given PLC time to fill out the Student of Concern survey. We realize you may not have all the information but, it is important to share what has worked and what hasn't worked with our students most at risk. (If you have already done this - THANK YOU!)

2. PLC this week is given to work on report card comments that need to be translated. The folder for comments that need to be sent out of the building for translation will be closed _______.

3. The week of June 5th PLC time will be given to assigning class lists. The Class Placement document needs to be ready because this will take the entire time.

  • OSAS Testing

This is the last week of testing. Review your tab(s) of the testing document and ensure everyone is done. If students are not done we are aiming for at least 5 questions on the CAT assessments and 1/2 of the questions on the PT assessments to count as participation. As participation is a part of the TSI ranking we may ask a student to begin a new test before finishing an open test.

Email Theresa with when you plan to send students to test this week.

Tuesday - 10-11:40 and 1:35-2:50

Wednesday and Thursday - 1:35-2:50 (Alyssa will run these sessions)

Friday - 10:00-11:00 (Alyssa will run this session. MS students testing here will be invited to PM play performance.)
