I am getting this out a bit earlier in an effort to focus on family events tomorrow. Yesterday was indeed a good Friday. I left at 4:30 (early for me) with a smile on my face. Thank you for all your work in making our first week back a good one.
- I sent out an email to PFSP staff in regards to Monday. If you have additional questions please let me know. Monday is a work day and we will not be asking for people to attend meetings extra, with the exception of licensed support staff (and even this is a grey area). I realize people may be able to do grades at home. The expectation is all grades are completed on time and time is utilized to accomplish tasks you generally can't get done in the course of a normal school day. If you have nothing that needs to be addressed in the building then I will leave it to you to make the best professional judgement.
- Next week we will meet in PLCs K-2 teams will discuss current teaching and interventions. 3-5 teams will go over OSAS information. Please bring your Chromebooks.
- There has been an increase in items being dumped in the workroom. It also could use some clean up. Please note this is a common area and no one person is responsible for keeping it organized. We ask you to pick up after yourself.
- Tuesday night several of our students will have their art displayed at the Portland Art Museum. The museum is open from 6:30-8:00 for a Portland Public HeART show. Thank you Dani for submitting our student's work. Here's some more information about it too.
- Stephanie Jones shared this link. It is very useful for translations, etc. https://steinhardt.nyu.edu/
metrocenter/language-rbern/ resources/bilingual- glossaries-and-cognates . Speaking of Stephanie can I just say we are thankful for her work at Harrison Park?
