Nightly News for Thursday March 2nd

  •  Students will attend with their 3rd period class. We will be on our Friday club schedule. Middle school teachers please leave your classrooms beginning at 11:10. Our hope is to begin the assembly at 11:15. Students will be seated as the music playing. Students should be encouraged to leave personal belongings in their 3rd period classrooms. Please be sure to lock the doors when you leave. 3rd period teachers should review expectations prior to the assembly and sit with their classes in the assembly.  At the end of the assembly students will retrieve their things form their 3rd period class and head to 4th period. 
  • Tomorrow we have our middle school activity event after school. All middle school students should exit the building as normal with all of their personal belongings. Students will be let back into the building at 3:45 through the gym doors. Specific criteria has been shared with students for attendance. Students will receive wristbands for attendance. All are welcome to come enjoy the teen spirit. 
  • Thank you 5th grade team for brining today's assembly to fruition for our 3rd-5th graders. I was only able to stay for the first little bit, but the kids were engaged and well behaved. It was awesome to see some of our kids taking part in the performance too.

  • A reminder that if you witness a student injury a report should be filed using this: Origami Reporting Tool. This would not be for minor injuries such as a scrap or scratch, but injuries that may require medical attention or are of concern. When in doubt ask an administrator. We hope to spend a little time on this one day when we have time at staff meetings. 


  • Hey everyone, If you were missing a CD that was in your PC when we were modernized. It might be one of these. 

These were the ones we pulled out of the pile of PCs in the copy room.

 I will leave these in my box in the main office, I’ll reach back out in a week to see if any are still left. They will be donated to the CD gods. 


  • The last basketball games of the season are slated for Saturday.  Here is the schedule.

Morning Minute for May 8th

 A reminder that lunch will be ready to roll tomorrow @ 12:40 in the staff room. We will be serving burritos and tacos.  A shift in the schedule. We will serve desserts on Friday and Italian sodas on Thursday.  Please note orders for Italian sodas need to be turned in by Thursday at noon. These can be put in Leah's box. If we do not have an order form one will not be delivered. These were handed out at staff meeting yesterday.
