Nightly News for March 9th

  • K, 1st, 3rd Eye Hearing Screening in the conference room tomorrow. Name tags and schedules were put in mailboxes yesterday. Please put them on your students before going down to the screening.
  •  Please see the attached flyer (in the original email) for a free PD event around taking care of ourselves as stewards of students with high rates of trauma. This event is after school hours and is online.
  • Starting next week Kara will be providing a review of CHAMPS strategies on Tuesday and Thursday mornings 8:00-8:30 in her office.  It is the same information both days so teachers can pick which day works better for them.
  • Reminder to elementary teachers we have seen some improvement with students having passes.  Please be sure that students do have a pass when leaving your class.  If they do not have a pass and we see them in the hall or show up to a destination without a pass, we will send them back.  Thank you!!
  • Planning for the Harrison Park School Multicultural Night experience scheduled for March 23rd from 6-7:30 pm has begun. Parents and community members interested in participating can contact Dr. Carpenter at dcarpenter@pps.net. Students will be working on their participation in advisory classes beginning next week.
