Nightly News for March 8th

  • Great work on the fire drill. We got out and back in quickly and students were doing a great job listening to directions outside. Jill commented that it was one of the smoothest she has ever seen. NICE work.

  • Thank you Kim Jarvis for asking about funds for Multicultural Night. In year's past we have provided Homeroom/CORE  teachers with funds for projects. We will provide each grade level with $125 for projects. Grade level teams can decide to pool the money or to split it up evenly between teachers. DLI classes will count as one (not two separate classes for AM/PM). You are welcome to purchase items on your own for this purpose. Please remember if you do so we will only reimburse up to the specified amount and receipts have to be turned in. You can also send links to Shannon to purchase. She will not place any orders for this event after March 17th. Anything purchased needs to be consumable materials used for projects (i.e. poster board, paint).
  • The organizers of 82nd Avenue Parade are looking for parade participants.  This event will be on April 29, with no cost to participate but application must be filled out. If anyone is potentially interested in participating in this event let me know. I have the application. Electives - music, art, dance, Mandarin Immersion?
  • Boxes have arrived. There will be a process to label boxes etc. These are located in the custodial area near the cafeteria. Please take 1-2 boxes as needed.
