Nightly News for March 13th

  • Payroll has to be turned in on Wednesday the 15th. Please be sure to turn in ALL things pertaining to absences, extended hours, etc to Shannon by the end of the day tomorrow.
  • Thank you for your patience as we interviewed today. As I mentioned in the Weekly Forecast, we have various people in interviews based on the position. There are 34 interviews total with most of them scheduled for today through Wednesday.
  • A contractor site walk through will be taking place tomorrow afternoon starting at 4:00. Presence shouldn't be too impactful to staff. However, they will likely be walking through a few of the existing classrooms to provide a representative sample for upgrades.
  • Kara is holding CHAMPS meetings on Tuesday and Thursdays from 8:00-8:30 AM. Both days will be the same meeting, so you do not need to attend both. This is to provide support, PD, and feedback.
  • From Kim Jarvis our TAG Coordinator: Do we have any students that we should be looking at for single-subject acceleration or whole-grade acceleration? If so it's time to start filling out the forms! If you have a student that you think may qualify for this option, please see Leah or Jill (K-5) or Emily 6th-8th to discuss. Also, do we have any 4-8th students who might like to participate in the Oregon Writing Festival? It's on May 6th at PSU. We can send some students, but Kim needs to let the TAG Department know.
  • A reminder tomorrow's PD is Cadres.
