Nightly News for February 13th

  • In the event of a two hour delay we will make the following adjustments:

Middle School students will enter at 10:38, K-5 at 10:53. We will not run on a different bell schedule. All lunches will remain the same. Staff are to report at 9:45, but  I will add you should ensure you arrive safely. If for some reason you will not be able to be in the building by 10:30 please call the main office and let Shannon know or text me @ 503.545.9463.

Middle School will arrive and go to their 3rd period class. We will do Advisory/Flex in 3rd. Students will then go to their 4th period and go through the day as normal.

2nd and 3rd will have electives/specials @ 11:20 and resume their day from there. 

  • Exclusion Day is Wednesday (the 15th). There are approximately 12 kids that do not have vaccinations or appropriate documentation that need to be excluded. KellyMcKnight will email individual teachers with names to alert staff. In the event the student shows up Wednesday please call the office and then send them down. 
  • Correction Middle School midterms grades are not due until the 28th . I put they were due this Friday as it was posted on our Canvas calendar. Didn't mean to alarm anyone. 
  • Congrats to the winner of the Blazer drawing. Kathie Collins has been in room 136 for the past month or two. Her name was drawn this afternoon at 12:45. I will most likely do another drawing soon. 
  • Another reminder to turn in any extended hours etc. to Shannon ASAP.

Morning Minute for May 8th

 A reminder that lunch will be ready to roll tomorrow @ 12:40 in the staff room. We will be serving burritos and tacos.  A shift in the schedule. We will serve desserts on Friday and Italian sodas on Thursday.  Please note orders for Italian sodas need to be turned in by Thursday at noon. These can be put in Leah's box. If we do not have an order form one will not be delivered. These were handed out at staff meeting yesterday.
