Nightly News for January 25th

  •  Emily was expected to return on the 30th. I spoke with her today and she asked I share she is well and things are moving forward. One thing she has been dealing with some significant insomnia and they are making progress with this. She is being asked to remain off until this is under control. She is confident she will return the week of the 13th. She wanted to share she is coming back ;-)
  • If you have any ESL Monitoring forms please turn them in to Naima tomorrow. I will be sending these to the district at the end of the day. 
  • We will have a fire drill tomorrow. We will not be sharing the time as this is part of practicing...the unexpected. 
  • I will be leaving around 2:30 tomorrow to go to the district office to receive staffing. I will be returning afterward for our Dance/Music performances. 
  • Our middle school dancers and musicians will be performing tomorrow at 6:00. All are welcome to attend. 
  • A reminder that office staff will be out at trainings tomorrow. I will be in the building, but will be leaving at 1:15ish for a meeting. I plan on returning after it is completed. 
  • Here is the schedule for games this Saturday. 
3rd Grade Boys- 9:00 @ Eastside Community Center
3rd Grade Girls- 12:45 @ Mt.Tabor Middle School
4th Grade- 11:20 @ Eastside Community Center
5th Grade- 10:10 @ Beverly Cleary/Fernwood

Morning Minute for May 8th

 A reminder that lunch will be ready to roll tomorrow @ 12:40 in the staff room. We will be serving burritos and tacos.  A shift in the schedule. We will serve desserts on Friday and Italian sodas on Thursday.  Please note orders for Italian sodas need to be turned in by Thursday at noon. These can be put in Leah's box. If we do not have an order form one will not be delivered. These were handed out at staff meeting yesterday.
