Nightly News for November 21st

The first day of conferences is under our belts. I want you to know I had several reasons to smile today! From a Thanksgiving feast, smiling parents and kids, our dedicated PTA and more. I am thankful for all of you.

  • Please note if you do not work the entire scheduled conference times,  8:30-8:00 today (or tomorrow), hours should be turned in. Monday and Tuesday are 12 hour days for PAT members.
  • If you have extended hours for last week please be sure to turn them in tomorrow. We are all making an effort to turn them in weekly!
  • I want to give everyone a  big heads up as soon as possible. The building will be closed over Winter Break as they will be doing some work on floors and removing some of our lockers. This work will entail some asbestos abatement. The custodial staff will still be reporting to work, but all other staff should not be in the building after Friday December 16th. I will keep in touch with the contractors and if they finish up early will communicate out. On that note, I need to share all lockers that are currently being used will need to be cleaned out for removal. Classes currently using lockers will need to plan on not having them after the break. I will talk about this more, but wanted to give everyone ample time to prepare.
  • Our new SUN coordinator will be official on the 2nd of December. More info to come.
  • Thank you to Emily for bringing dessert and several taco condiments, Shannon for chopping onions, tomatoes and frying up taco meat and Kelly for making guacamole. We hope you enjoyed dinner. As a reminder our new staff massage chair is ready to roll in the staff lounge.
