What a beautiful weekend! My family and I went up to the Seattle area to watch my nephews play soccer and football. It was a very quick overnight trip and as result I did not get to my Sunday morning Weekly Forecast work. 

  • Emily will be out tomorrow (Monday).
  • As Audra has settled in the team has discussed the best way to support student's social emotional and mental health needs. Ana will begin collaborating with classroom teaches and begin to focus on Tier I proactive work through more classroom lessons  Lindsay and Audra will begin to focus on students with more intensive needs and be crisis management. We do have a lead on a full time counselor...fingers crossed. This position will be middle school focused.
  • A reminder that staff who see a behavior should be writing the referral, if warranted. We want to ensure the person most knowledgeable about the situation is writing the referral. 
  • Air purifiers were serviced this past week. You may see a green sticker on your device. This indicates the date it was serviced. 
  • Picture packets were put in your mailboxes on Friday. Please make sure they are sent home on Monday as we will be sending home messenger reminders starting Monday.  Shannon sent out a picture day schedule for Oct. 18th on Friday. It is important that people arrive on time.  Photo location will be the auditorium.

  • MAP Growth Testing - The window for MAP Growth closes this Thursday. Make up sessions will be in the cafeteria at the times below. Monday, send all students needing testing. This way if a student has more than 1 test or takes more time there are opportunities the following days. Middle school teachers, all orange squares are incomplete tests. Elementary, if you need a list email Theresa. 
    Monday - 9:30-11 and 1:45-2:50
    Tuesday - 1:45-2:50
    Wednesday - 1:45-2:50
    Thursday - 9:30-11 and 1:45-2:50 (these may change based on need)

  • There is no staff meeting this Tuesday. This time should be used to complete mandatory online trainings. Please remember these must be completed by October 31st. 
  • Friday is a State In Service day. Some staff are being asked to attend trainings, etc.  If you have not received an email or been notified then this is not a workday for you. The building will be open, but anyone coming to work should be out by 5:30. Emily and I will not be in the building on Friday.

Morning Minute for May 8th

 A reminder that lunch will be ready to roll tomorrow @ 12:40 in the staff room. We will be serving burritos and tacos.  A shift in the schedule. We will serve desserts on Friday and Italian sodas on Thursday.  Please note orders for Italian sodas need to be turned in by Thursday at noon. These can be put in Leah's box. If we do not have an order form one will not be delivered. These were handed out at staff meeting yesterday.
