Nightly News for October 24th

  • Sorry or the late entry. My daughter had her last home soccer game and I was able to make it. Whew. Time goes by fast and we have to embrace these moments. 
  • Please remember all Pepper Courses have to be completed by October 31st, next Monday. Time has been given to support completion. Those who have not completed mandatory training may be put on leave. 
  • Classroom Teachers!
    We have left a USBC Dongle HUB in your mailbox. This is for you to use with your Pixelbook and peripheral equipment (projector, mouse, doc cam, etc). Please email Kenneth via Khamilton@pps.net if you have any questions about them!
  • The PPS photographer Beth Conyers, will be taking free professional PPS headshots from 2:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25th and Wednesday, October 26th in the foyer of the PPS Central Office. These headshots are available to all PPS staff members. 

    3rd-5th Grade Teachers
  • Kenneth will be coming by on Wednesday morning to check on your students devices in the room. He will need about 10-15 minutes of time to scan, check and confirm kiddos have working Chromebooks. Thank You Everyone!
  • K-5 teachers we will would like to  create a bank of worksheets/work for students to do when they have been removed from class. If you have some extra copies of this type of thing please feel free to turn it into Shannon in the office or put it in Leah's box. We are finding when kids are pulled out of class, we do not to want to interrupt the classroom teacher for work and/or don't have someone available to come and grab it. Thank you in advance for your support. 

  • The grading window for the first quarter is open.  The last day for teachers to enter grades is Nov 7 and my deadline  for us to submit grades is Nov 11.  Synergy should have sent out a reminder around this, but we wanted to communicate out as well. K-5 teachers you will be doing report cards for quarter one as well. 

  • See the links below in regards to staffing information for next year. I know this is a long way off, but I want to ensure everyone is aware.

Morning Minute for May 8th

 A reminder that lunch will be ready to roll tomorrow @ 12:40 in the staff room. We will be serving burritos and tacos.  A shift in the schedule. We will serve desserts on Friday and Italian sodas on Thursday.  Please note orders for Italian sodas need to be turned in by Thursday at noon. These can be put in Leah's box. If we do not have an order form one will not be delivered. These were handed out at staff meeting yesterday.
