Nightly News for October 10th

  • It is a full moon tonight. First, go outside and take it in. Second, know kids (in my opinion) came  in with a lot of needs today. Hopefully they settle in tomorrow. 
  • The attendance team met on Friday and began discussion around students who are showing some severe attendance problems. We will be asking staff to write a positive post card home to encourage these students to get to school more regularly. More information to follow, I just wanted to give you a heads up. 


  • Your school is eligible to shop at the Free Store for Teachers at Schoolhouse Supplies! When you shop at the Free Store, you'll find basic school supplies along with books, art supplies, office supplies, incentives, and much more. 

Please encourage your staff to register for the Free Store and shop to stock up on needed classroom supplies. Forward this email to your:

  • SUN program site managers/Extended day coordinators
  • Principal/Vice Principal
HOW TO REGISTER
  1. Create an account, enter your information and submit. (Shoppers must create an account each school year, even if they have shopped in the past.)
  2. After your registration is approved, login to schedule a shopping trip. Appointments are available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 1-6pm.

Morning Minute for May 8th

 A reminder that lunch will be ready to roll tomorrow @ 12:40 in the staff room. We will be serving burritos and tacos.  A shift in the schedule. We will serve desserts on Friday and Italian sodas on Thursday.  Please note orders for Italian sodas need to be turned in by Thursday at noon. These can be put in Leah's box. If we do not have an order form one will not be delivered. These were handed out at staff meeting yesterday.
