Nightly News for Monday September 19th

  • The back area where we have been storing furniture etc. will be utilized by our community partners this year. We will finally begin to attack this area and begin putting it to use again. Please avoid dumping furniture and other items in this area from this point on.  
  • McDaniel is looking for a member (or members) of HP staff to attend home football games and keep an eye on our HP students. I want our kids to be able to participate in their community events and would like to partner with them. Let me know if you are interested in attending. They will offer extended pay and if we have other staff members interested I may do so as well. Talk to me if you have any questions. This would require supervision and "wrangling" a bit. 
  • Starting next Monday we will be swapping the Kinder/1st and 1/2 DLI classroom's lunches/recesses. Basically they will just do the opposite of what they are doing now. We will communicate this out in more detail to those it impacts, but I wanted to let everyone know about the change now. 
  • I will be in around 9:00 tomorrow morning as I have an appointment.

Morning Minute for May 8th

 A reminder that lunch will be ready to roll tomorrow @ 12:40 in the staff room. We will be serving burritos and tacos.  A shift in the schedule. We will serve desserts on Friday and Italian sodas on Thursday.  Please note orders for Italian sodas need to be turned in by Thursday at noon. These can be put in Leah's box. If we do not have an order form one will not be delivered. These were handed out at staff meeting yesterday.
