This week is Teacher Appreciation Week and we WE APPRECIATE YOU EVERY DAY. You are all the best "BAR NONE". We are sure you will figure out our  theme for this week! I know the past two years have been exceptionally stressful. Please know your work matters. Recently someone said anyone who can show up to a Title One School where the work is more difficult and absolutely imperative deserves so much more than what they are paid. I concur. you all make a difference. 

I apologize this is coming out later than normal. I started it last night and at the last minute we decided to head to Walla Walla to watch my son's games today. I am finishing up between games. I may be getting in tomorrow morning depending on when we are able to get back home tonight. Only three more games and this journey ends.


  • Mid Term grades are due on Friday the 6th.
  • We will hold our K-5 assemblies this Friday. K/1 will be from 1:00-1:30, 2nd/3rd will be from 1:45-2:15, and 4th/5th will be from 2:30-3:00. These assemblies will take place in the auditorium. More details to come 
  • Support staff who have not signed up to support for OSAS testing please do so. All staff please note your services may be impacted slightly during this time. 
  • Ramadan has ended and Ed al-Fitr is tomorrow. We anticipate many of our Muslim students will be out tomorrow and possibly Tuesday. 
  • Middle School staff we will be holding an Open House for our 5th grade students and any students who will be joining HP from Bridger next year on May 19th. This will take place from 6:30-7:30 and extended hours will be available.

Morning Minute for May 8th

 A reminder that lunch will be ready to roll tomorrow @ 12:40 in the staff room. We will be serving burritos and tacos.  A shift in the schedule. We will serve desserts on Friday and Italian sodas on Thursday.  Please note orders for Italian sodas need to be turned in by Thursday at noon. These can be put in Leah's box. If we do not have an order form one will not be delivered. These were handed out at staff meeting yesterday.
