Nightly News for Monday the 2nd

  • We hope you enjoyed the coffee and candy bar today. Tomorrow will be a drink bar @ our staff meeting. We will be meeting @ 3:30 in the library. 
  • CONGRATS and thank you to Kelly our Health Assistant on all of her hard work to ensure all our students were immunized. We started at 78 students who needed immunizations and are finally down to zero. Way to go.
  • I am currently without my work cell phone.  In the event of an emergency please use my personal cell phone, 503 312-1453. This is for emergencies only. All other communication should be via email until the phone situation is worked out.
  • Tomorrow OSAS begins for 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th, and 8th - It will take place over the next 3 weeks. 
    • Be aware of signs on doors - Help classes with voice level when going by these rooms.
    • Be aware that some students have heightened anxiety about this testing and may be more reactive than usual.
    • Bells will be turned off from 8:45-12:30 on 5/3-4 and 5/10-13 -  set timers for end of class times and electives -
    • Middle school schedule - Elementary electives on regular schedule 
      • 8:45-9:05 - Advisory 20 minutes

        9:05-10:15 - Test in Homeroom 70 minutes

        10:15-10:51 - 1st period   36 minutes

        10:55-11:31 - 2nd period   36 minutes

        11:35-12:11 - 3rd period   36 minutes

        12:15-12:51 - 4th period   36 minutes


        12:51-3:15 Lunch/Recess, 5th and 6th periods on the regular schedule

    • Middle school take period 2-4 attendance on paper and send to the office on test days you have copies for most test days in your test bag from me.
