Nightly News for May 19th
Tomorrow is Friday! Thank you for holding steady, I know we all feel a bit like letting go right now.
- I only have two meetings on my schedule tomorrow (one in the morning and at 11:00). I am hoping to support as much as possible, but based on the sub situation right now I may be in classrooms. Danelle and Natalie will continue to support students with BSPs, FBAs and Safety Plans, but will not be available for other breaks, etc. Please do not send students to their office.
- We received GLOWING supports from PSU folks about our AVID student's behavior and decorum on the field trip today. We know our kids our capable!
- As of right now we have five and a half (one is a half day) unfilled positions tomorrow. The district office has been in touch. We can probably make due if we get two of them filled, BUT this means we will be stretched thin for duties and support.
- There is a lot of talk in certain parts of the district about a climate walk out tomorrow. We have not heard any of this from our students. If middle school students leave we will contact their parents to let them know they have left campus for the walkout. K-5 students need to be signed out by a parent.
