Nightly News for May 16th

  • Middle School will be running another test session tomorrow, 5/17. They will be on the modified schedule. We do need adults to be the 2nd in the room. Middle school teachers remove yourself from the document attached if you'll be hosting students who have finished. I'll be in a PLC but, available by text if there are any questions. Reminder - Collect phones at the beginning.  https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1kVKKshI1imZYtA2pj4o6iYgyZTZBUPOEa3-bQD2AXUU/edit#gid=0
  • We are currently looking at some longer term solutions for students in our 4th Period Dance Class (10 students) 5th Period Video Tech (9) and 6th Period Dance (11). We have not been able to get a substitute and most likely will be be in this situation for the next two weeks. K-5 teachers if you have a need for some support please let me know. Students could potentially do one on one math support or reading support, help with a small group, etc. We are especially looking at the 12:01-12:51 time frame. They are all 8th grade students.
  • Friday the district is anticipating student walk outs for a  Climate Awareness Day. If you hear students talking about this just give me a heads up. In the past this has not been something our kids participated in.
  • There is probably some more I SHOULD cover this evening, but I am in a SEL Meeting until 6:15 and want to make sure I send this out and don't forget.
