Nightly News for April 20th

  •  Just wanted to let everyone know that I am getting the morning "sub shortage" alert once again. We have had several days this week where we have had to provide coverage because non one picked up the job. I appreciate the work of the Michelle and Cheryl yesterday and JoAnna, Natalia, June and Tami today for jumping in without complaint. I am trying to make an effort to impact our interventions, ESL, schedules as much as possible. It is like trying to choose whether you want your toe nail pulled out or poison ivy. Neither choice is ideal. If you are aware of an upcoming absence please get it put in the system ASAP. If you are on the fence about whether or not you can come in, it would be better to put in the absence as soon as possible and then a final decision if it doesn't get picked up.
  • As a reminder the front parking lot is for office staff and employees who may have to leave and come back throughout the day. We also want to ensure we have a few spots available for families. On another note we will begin locking this parking lot in the evenings in the near future. 
  • Remember tomorrow is FRIDAY. Wear your school shirts or school colors. Let's make it a great day.

Morning Minute for May 8th

 A reminder that lunch will be ready to roll tomorrow @ 12:40 in the staff room. We will be serving burritos and tacos.  A shift in the schedule. We will serve desserts on Friday and Italian sodas on Thursday.  Please note orders for Italian sodas need to be turned in by Thursday at noon. These can be put in Leah's box. If we do not have an order form one will not be delivered. These were handed out at staff meeting yesterday.
