Nightly News for March 29th

  • If you are interested in working this summer in the Summer Acceleration Program please let me know.  I am being asked to share potential names with the district. 
  • A reminder that by April 20th all Harrison Park staff will need to be signed up and ready to roll with the new Duo System: 



  • The AVID program is excited to announce a potential classroom film mini-unit for all AVID 6-12 classes as well as an open invitation to an all-PPS staff evening screening and panel discussion with the filmmakers. The Film screening will be on Thursday, April 7 at 5 pm with a panel discussion with the filmmakers at 6 pm. Click here for details.
  • We will be working quickly to begin identifying students for Summer Acceleration. Be ready to share input as we begin to begin this process.
  • Ramadan begins April 2nd (this Saturday). Please ensure you are aware of your students who may be observing. I have been working with a few students on setting up some alternatives at lunch. I will share these out in the Weekly Forecast. If you have ideas, questions, etc please feel free to share them.

Morning Minute for May 8th

 A reminder that lunch will be ready to roll tomorrow @ 12:40 in the staff room. We will be serving burritos and tacos.  A shift in the schedule. We will serve desserts on Friday and Italian sodas on Thursday.  Please note orders for Italian sodas need to be turned in by Thursday at noon. These can be put in Leah's box. If we do not have an order form one will not be delivered. These were handed out at staff meeting yesterday.
