Nightly News for February 9th

  • Teachers please make sure any windows on your classroom doors are uncovered. We are seeing a lot of them that are covered up and as a result we can't see into them. There are a few situations where we may peek in to find a student and opening the door would result in more of a distraction.
  •  Tomorrow afternoon Emily and I have our staffing meeting beginning at 3:00. Since I have a SEGC meeting directly after this I am going to make an effort to leave at 2:30 so I can make it home in time for my 5 and a half hours of meetings. Just an FYI.
  • We are seeing less activity on our SST (COVID reporting tool/screener). However, we know we are not done with things yet. I wanted to make sure you are all aware that hours have changed for the district testing site.

Effective Thursday, February 10, the site will run as follows:

    • Days: Monday & Wednesday
    • Times: 7:30 to 9 a.m.

There will be no testing this Friday February 11.

Please access the Oregon Health Authority’s free COVID testing and vaccination drive-through site Monday through Sunday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Oregon Expo Center.  Please see this website for updated information about hours of operation.
