Nightly News for February 22nd

  • Darn it I missed the 2/22/22 memo. When the 3rd grade teacher I live with had a red and black tutu laying on the table last night I had to ask. If you did anything exciting in your rooms please share!
  •  We had a lot of positions uncovered today, but we made it through. Just as an FYI the district office folk are only picking up one, possibly two jobs a week. The priority is given to schools with multiple unfilled absences and homeroom teachers only. I realize multiple emails a day on the status of coverage can be a bit much, but I want to ensure staff is aware when we will lack the ability to respond or support students and teachers. 
  • Not much else to report tonight.

Morning Minute for May 8th

 A reminder that lunch will be ready to roll tomorrow @ 12:40 in the staff room. We will be serving burritos and tacos.  A shift in the schedule. We will serve desserts on Friday and Italian sodas on Thursday.  Please note orders for Italian sodas need to be turned in by Thursday at noon. These can be put in Leah's box. If we do not have an order form one will not be delivered. These were handed out at staff meeting yesterday.
