Nightly News for February 10th

  • I am still working to put together all the pieces of today's Team Response Incident. Please feel free to send input or suggestions. Because of the nature of this incident I can not go into details. I appreciate staff who kept the lobby cleared for a prolonged period and those people who were asked to support in various other ways. 
  • We received staffing today and will begin working on this as much as possible. We will have a discussion about this on Tuesday. 
  • If you have students who have planned breaks, safety plans, and anything else of this nature please be sure to include them in your sub plans. There have been a few situations, where guest teachers were not aware of students who needed escorts to restrooms etc. and problems arose as a result. 
  • Tomorrow is Friday and it has been a long week. I know I am tired and have worked with some challenging student situations so I know many of you have as well. I am reminding myself of my personal triggers and trying my best to be patient. If you have a kid getting on your last nerve take a moment to find something positive about them and a shift you might make to help move the needle in a positive direction.

Morning Minute for May 8th

 A reminder that lunch will be ready to roll tomorrow @ 12:40 in the staff room. We will be serving burritos and tacos.  A shift in the schedule. We will serve desserts on Friday and Italian sodas on Thursday.  Please note orders for Italian sodas need to be turned in by Thursday at noon. These can be put in Leah's box. If we do not have an order form one will not be delivered. These were handed out at staff meeting yesterday.
