Nightly News for January 31st

  • We will have staff meeting tomorrow. Please check your email for specifics around where you will meet etc. I need to touch base with a few people  tomorrow morning before finalizing locations. 
  • Kid Chat documents should be updated. Please have them ready to roll for tomorrow's staff meeting (K-5) 
  • I used my calendar for the Weekly Update and forgot a huge event! This Thursday, February 3rd we will be entertained with a fashion show at lunch to help celebrate Lunar New Year. Sadly, we are unable to hold assemblies and other events, but Ms.Yin came up with this idea and we are going to run with it. I want to thank the DLI team and parents for helping to put this event on. There is no shifts in schedule for the day, but your classes will have entertainment at lunch. I will put out some information about reviewing of expectations on Wednesday to go over with your classes.  
  • Thank you to Theresa and Emily for filling in today. My uncle passed a week or so ago and we were able to celebrate his life today with a several events. I was able to make a few meetings in between. I am very thankful to work with GREAT people.

Morning Minute for May 8th

 A reminder that lunch will be ready to roll tomorrow @ 12:40 in the staff room. We will be serving burritos and tacos.  A shift in the schedule. We will serve desserts on Friday and Italian sodas on Thursday.  Please note orders for Italian sodas need to be turned in by Thursday at noon. These can be put in Leah's box. If we do not have an order form one will not be delivered. These were handed out at staff meeting yesterday.
